Sweetness and Torque

Dave sent me this the other day.  Apparently the Army's not giving him enough to do, because he's editing video and daydreaming of getting back behind the wheel of getting his hands dirty again working on the Schnitzelmobile.  Take a look at this spectacular 3rd-gear roll-on burnout from our "Dyno Day" a few months back:

Now that's exciting!  She'll be a potent force to deal with once we get her back on the track!  That is, if we can put the power down on the track through that open differential.

...and if we can figure out how to keep her on the track.

...and if we can solve our little problem with the brakes (blown-through turbos, as it turns out, don't create any vacuum for the brake booster.)

...and if we fix that big oil leak out of the rear main seal.

...and if we can find a cheap way to R&R the tranny.  Dave did a third gear roll-on in the video because that's all it's got at the moment!  Then again, with that much torque, who needs a transmission?
