Where Oh Wear?

Where Oh Wear has all the bearing metal gone? This is what we found when we pulled the bearings: down to the copper.  We were still seeing good oil pressure (about 45 psi), but we sure were hearing a deep down knocking noise.  I guess this explains it;

The mains looked pretty good, but nearly all of the connecting rod bearings were streaked and scraped like shown above.  That's what you get when you blow two head gaskets and keep on driving...
